Joseph’s Coat and Mariposa Museum and World Culture Center are teaming up to bring the finest handmade crafts to Peterborough for a mid-week 3-day Market.
Artisans from around the World share a piece of their culture through their handmade items. They will offer these treasures at a market at the museum from:
Tuesday July 28th to Thursday July 30th. The market will be open from 10AM to 6PM.
Articles will include: embroidered cashmere shawl from the Kashmir part of India; Hand embroidered silk bedspread and coats from Uzbekistan: hand painted illustration from Uzbekistan; fine silver filigree jewelry from Macedonia; jewelry from Kyrgyzstan; eggs from Ukraine and many other representations.
