Field trips:

For schools, homeschooled groups, summer programs, scouts and more, we can plan visits for up to 25 children at a time with 4 chaperons. (Typical Programs)

Group maximum: 25 kids
Price: $10 p/p.

4 chaperones are included.

Visits for larger and special needs groups can be accommodated by the museum by request.

Group Visits

Mariposa Museum is open to planned group visits from assisted living facilities, family groups, book clubs, office-staff groups, and more!  We are very flexible but do need advance notice. In the case of assisted living facilities, there is no charge for chaperones.

Group maximum: 20 people
Price: $12 p/p.
Chaperones are included.

Visits for larger and special needs groups can be accommodated by the museum by request.

What is included in a Group Visit?

The Mariposa Museum team will create a special visit just for your group! We will plan the visit together beforehand, but your visit might include:

• Our current temporary exhibit

• Our permanent collections

• A field trip program (Available Programs)

• An optional craft (by request)

• Time and space for a break and snack/lunch.

Regular group visits last between 2.5-3 hrs and can be scheduled Monday to Friday mornings, starting from 9 am.
